PERSONEL STATEMENT AND CAREER DETAILS
I am holding a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Project Management from The University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila, Pakistan. I have 30 years of professional work experience in reputed Capital development Authority (CDA), Islamabad, Pakistan. I worked independently as well as a part of team on various professional, managerial and practical field related tasks and projects. I am currently working as Director Electrical & Mechanical in CDA. I as PE have been working with Capital Development Authority, Islamabad, Pakistan (CDA) since December 1988 and have successfully accomplished numerous engineering projects related to electrification, Supply of Power, Air Condoning, Elevators, Solar Power System, Street Lighting, Traffic Signal System, Fountains, Pumping Systems, Fire Alarming and detection system in prestigious and August buildings viz. President House, Parliament House, Prime Minister Secretariat, and Supreme Court of Pakistan. I have also vast experience of operation maintenance of heavy, earth moving machines, carpeting machineries and Asphalt Mixing plant. As a member of Rescue team, I participated in earthquake rehabilitation works in Islamabad and Jaborri (KPK) in 2005. With my ability to critically review the cost-benefits, sustainability of projects, and application of business models to evaluation of projects, work proposals, specialized skills in preparing PC Documents, tender documents, I have administered lot of projects to complete them within budget and schedule.
I being Scholar did PhD research at the University of University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila in Project Management and have remained involved to gain extensive and varied experience in imparting valuable inputs in supervisions of MSc in Mechanical Engineering research dissertations, conducting viva voce examinations as external supervisor since 2004. I have also made active participation as member of board of studies and as a speaker in academia industry linkage meetings in Mechanical Engineering Department/Faculty, UET Taxila. Moreover, I also impart guidance to the under graduate and post graduate level students in preparation of their Research Projects besides evaluating projects in open house exhibitions. Mechanical Department of UET taxila working with implementation, management, operation and maintenance of various infrastructures projects. I have also demonstrated capacity for building collaborative and professional relationships with the public, government representatives, interest groups, consultants and clients. I am registered with PEC as a Professional Engineer and have achieved lot of professional assignments in my career.
